What You'll Do:
Build and maintain React Native applications used by millions of users.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features end to end — from concept to release.
- Write clean, testable, and scalable code with performance top of mind.
- Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and ensure smooth app performance.
- Contribute ideas beyond coding — influencing what to build and why.
- Share knowledge, participate in code reviews, and elevate engineering standards across the team.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in mobile development, including 3+ years with React Native.
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, React Hooks, React Navigation, and state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).
- Experience building apps with REST/GraphQL, offline support, and robust error handling.
- Hands-on experience with Firebase (Firestore, Realtime DB, Remote Config).
- Familiarity with in-app purchases (IAP) and subscription flows.
- Experience working with native modules and bridging on both iOS and Android.
- Comfort with testing tools like Jest or Detox, and CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
- Skilled in profiling and debugging: performance, memory, rendering, startup time, and Hermes engine optimization.
- Comfortable managing App Store deployments and release processes.
- Strong ownership mindset — thrives in async, remote-first environments.
Bonus Points:
- Experience scaling apps to millions of users.
- Exposure to native Swift/Kotlin development.
- Experience with ad integrations (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, etc.).
- Strong understanding of monetization models and analytics.
- Curiosity beyond coding — product sense, growth mindset, or even a fitness obsession.
